FARMER, LEONARD, farmer, West Washington Township, Sec. 34; P. O. Indianola; was born in North Carolina, July 31, 1817; his parents emigrated to Indiana, when he was quite young, where he made his home till he came to this county, in the spring of 1850; he was married in the state of Indiana, December 15, 1842, to Miss Mary Ferguson, a native of North Carolina, born September 16, 1817; they have one son living: W. L., born in this county, January 12, 1861, and two deceased, Lydia A., and John F.; his homestead consists of 210 acres.
