CORZATT, NATHANIEL, carpenter and farmer, Richland Township, Sec. 20; P. O. Hartford; born in Indiana, in 1834, and when about ten years of age his parents emigrated to Ohio, where he made his home till he came to this country, in the winter of 1851, and since that time has been a permanent resident of the county; when he first came he followed brickmaking for a while, and learned his trade in 1853, which he has followed as a business, and at the same time managed his farm of 80 acres; he was married in Indiana. Aug. 20, 1856, to Miss Mary C. Shetterly, whose parents came to this county in 1848; this marriage ceremony was performed by Rev. P. P. Henderson, and at the same time, and by the same ceremony, Benjamin T. Shetterly was united to Miss Rebecca Wellons; Mr. C. has held various township offices, trustee, assessor and justice of the peace; his family consists of two daughters, living, Ida A. and Sarah Iphigenia, and three deceased.
