CAMPBELL, JAMES W., Indianola, dealer in hardware, stoves and manufacturer of tin-ware; was born in Mahoning county, Ohio, in 1825, and lived there until 1857, and then came to Washington county, Iowa, where he resided until his removal to this county in 1867; he married Miss Lizzie Riddle in 1845; she was a native of Mahoning county, Ohio; their family consists of five children: Nancy A., Valerie J., Alice C., Mamie R. and Lizzie E.
