BLACK, GEORGE G., farmer, Sec. 23, Linn Township; P. O. Norwalk; was born in Fairfield county, Ohio, Dec. 21, 1828, and made that his home till he came to this county, in April, 1867, except two years that he served in the late war; he was married in Ohio to Miss Amelia Ann Keller, a native of Portage county, Ohio, September 19, 1850; they have a family of seven children living: Isabella, Euphemia, Rebecca, John W., Clara E., Cora and James Arthur; Mary J., deceased; Mr. Black enlisted in Co. G, 114th Ohio Infantry, and served two years and two months.
