ANGELSBERG, AUGUST C.,[listed as Anglsberg] farmer,Jackson Township, P. O. St. Mary; born in Germany, June, 1852; in company with his father, Stephen Anglsberg, he emigrated to America, locating in Wisconsin, where they lived until 1871, when they removed to Winneshiek county, this State, remaining there four years; they then came to this county; Mr. Anglsberg is unmarried, having, nevertheless, family cares; his family consists of one sister, father and mother, whose respective ages are sixty-three years, and a grand-mother, whose age is ninety-nine years.

[A.C. Angelsberg married Marietta Nuzum on July 26, 1880 in Indianola, Iowa. The 1885 Iowa Census shows the family in Warren County, Iowa. In 1910 August C. is a widow, living with his son, Henry, in McKinley, King County, Washington. August Cornelius Angelsberg died June 9, 1914 in Seattle, King County, Washington, according to Washington Deaths 1883-1960.]
