Gus Reeves [Augustus Wade Reeves], nominee for Surveyor, is a young man of ability and industry. He is not perhaps widely known over the county. But when we tell our readers that he is the son of Levi Reeves, for so many years the surveyor of this county, they will have little doubt of his ability to fill the office with credit to himself and satisfaction to the public. As his father’s assistant he has had considerable actual experience in the work of surveying in this county.
