Rebecca Jane (Jennie) HALL MAYBURY was born December 8, 1875 on her father's 300 acre farm on the Steubenville Turnpike 8 miles west of Pittsburgh in Robinson Township, Alleghany County, Pennsylvania

Rebecca Jane was the third child and oldest daughter of James HALL and Hannah (LINDSAY) HALL. In the spring of 1876 James and Hannah with their three oldest children William, James Byron and Jennie moved to a 320 acre farm two miles south of Milo, Warren County, Iowa, which James had purchased prior to the Civil War.

After her public school education Jennie enrolled in a business school in Omaha, Nebraska. after returning to Indianola, she married Frank Sisson Maybury on October 8, 1902 in Indianola, Iowa. Frank was born October 12, 1864 in Winona, Winona County, Minnesota. Jennie died December 1, 1959 in a rest home in Indianola and was buried in the Indianola IOOF Cemetery.

Rebecca Jane was an active member of the United Presbyterian Church of Indianola and the Women's Society as well as the G.A.R., Legion of Honor and the Women's Relief Corps. The Mayburys had no children.
