The following is from a combination of census records and other materials:

Oliver Coffman and Sarah A. Maloy/Meloy were married on March 11, 1847 in Clark County, Indiana. He was born in Ohio in abt 1816 and she was born in Pennsylvania in abt 1827. They had:

Thomas Coffman, born abt 1848 in Clark County, Indiana
John Coffman, born abt 1849 in Clark County, Indiana
William Coffman, born abt 1850 in Clark County, Indiana
Harrison (Harry) Coffman, born abt 1852 in Indiana
Hester Coffman, born abt 1856 in Iowa
Madison Coffman, born abt 1858 in Iowa
Sidney Coffman born abt 1864 in Iowa

While the family lived in Wapello County from abt 1855 through the early 1880s, they left a very small footprint. I do not find any of the family in Wapello County marriage or death records.

Prior to 1885 Oliver and Sarah moved to Jackson Township, Clarke County, Iowa. Oliver died in 1894 and Sarah died in 1904. Both are buried in Ottawa Cemetery, Jackson Township, Clarke County, Iowa.
