I have long since found the information for which I sought concerning Odess David Martin. His parents were Harrison Wesley McKindy Martin (b1850 Preston Co, WV d. 1916 Wapello Co IA) and Hattie Rebecca Wages (b1864 Scio CO, OH d1936 Shelby Co MO).

Odess was the oldest of seven children. He was born 1 Apr 1887 in Warren Co, IA and died 28 Mar 1934 in Custer Co, SD.

His siblings were:

Bessie Mae Martin (married a PARSONS and was in the Mental hospital in Utica SD in 1930) who was born circa 1889. She may have had a son Woodrow Parsons, but this has not been verified.

Harry Bruce Martin who married Sarah "Sally" Taylor Tobin and had several children including a Dorothy) born circa 1890 last known to be living in Wessington, SD

George Martin last known to be living in Illinois
and married a Lundy ?

Earl Martin- last known to be living in Shelby Co Missouri in 1936

John J. Martin- b. circa 1901 in Wapello Co, IA and last known to be living on the family farm in Shelby Co, MO in 1936

and one other one that I will have to post later. However, if you are descended from this family, please let me know!!
