CHARLES FINLEY WAS THE NEPHEW OF PG-GM SARAH EMMA FINLEY CAIN.

Ethel Claire Scherer WAS B 1883 AND D ???. SHE WAS THE DAU OF Martin Luther AND Francis Holtz Scherer. SHE MARRIED Charles Edmund Finley, 1877 – 1938. THEIR CHILDREN WERE GLEN CHARLES 1909-1954; THELMA ETHEL 1908-1981; AND MARJORIE MILDRED B ABT 1914 - ?.

GLEN WAS A WWII VET AND WORKED AT DAIN MFG. THELMA WAS EMPLOYED AS A LIBRARIAN AT OTTUMWA LIBRARY. MARJORIE WAS A TEACHER AND AN OFFICE WORKER AT J C PENNIES.

THE LAST DOCUMENTATION I HAVE OF ETHEL AND MARJORIE WAS IN THE 1960 OTTUMWA DIRECTORY RESIDING AT 807 Richmond av.

I CAN'T FIND THEM LISTED ANYWHERE AFTER THAT. I HAVE CHECKED ANCESTRY. SSDI, FINDAGRAVE, FAMILYSEARCH, AND ROOTSWEB OBIT. I WILL APPRECIATE IF ANY ONE CAN ASSIST FINDING WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM.
