Don't know how much I can help, but check out the following:

The 1880 Federal Census for Wapello County shows a John C. Yeager born abt 1862 Iowa with father Lorenzo and mother Margaret A. living near Bladensburg in Pleasant Township This might indicate that the subsequent child's name was Lorenzo Dick.

A check Wapello County birth records shows a child, Allie Pearl Yeager born 17 Nov 1886 with father John C. Yeager.

A check of Wapello County marriage records shows:
John C. Yeager married Eliza J. Arthur on 7 Mar 1883.

findagrave.com shows a John C. Yeager born 23 Feb 1862; died 14 Nov 1923 with wife Eliza Jane (Arthur) Yeager; born 5 Feb 1858 in Bladensburg, Wapello County; died 22 Dec 1928 in Jefferson County. Both are buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, Jefferson County. The findagrave listing also shows 3 children...the two you listed are not shown nor is Allie Pearl.

If these are your correct family, you should be able to get death certificates from Jefferson County.
