This is what I can find:

She was Lillian Mercedes Pottorff, born 13 Jun 1909 in Washington township, Wapello County, Iowa and died on 1 Apr 1933 in Eldon, She married Dedrick Behrens in 1929.

Lillian Mercedes was the daughter of Harvey G. Pottorff (b. abt 1880; d. 4 Sep 1965) and Lillian L. Williamson (b. abt 1882; d. 20 Sep 1954).

Lillian Williamson was the daughter of Ebenezer Williamson (b. 1841 in Ohio; d. 9 Sep 1927) and Cynthia A. Williamson (b. 1847 in Kentucky; d. 24 Feb 1908)

Harvey Pottorff and Lillian Williamson were married on 30 Jun 1903 in Wapello county. In addition to L. Mercedes, Harvey and Lillian had a son, Herman - called Hermie (b. abt 1903; d. Aug 1959).

All of these people are buried in the cemetery at Eldon. I don't see any relationship to the Mael family in all this.
