IRA WELCH DIES VERY SUDDENLY.
Ira J. Welch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Welch, died very suddenly Wednesday evening at 8:30 while sitting on the sofa in his home, one half mile east of Dahlonega.

Ira Welch was 16 years, 3 months and 3 days old at the time of his death and is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Welch, three brothers, and three sisters.

The brothers and sisters are James and Charles Welch and Fred Welch of Oskaloosa. The sisters are Mrs. Mary Meeker of Agency and Miss Mabel and Miss Winnie Welch.

Saturday afternoon Ira Welch was in the city and was visiting at the home of his uncle, Milton Knott, who resides on Bashaw street. It was while at the home of his uncle that he was taken ill with a fainting spell. A carriage was ordered and the young man was taken to his home in the country. He had been complaining of not feeling well since that time.

The funeral services over the remains of the late Ira J. Welch, Jr., the young many who died suddenly at his home near Dahlonega Wednesday evening, was held this afternoon at 1 o’clock from the family residence, Rev. E. J. Shook, pastor of the Willard Street Methodist Episcopal Church, conducted the services.
