Lewis Harding Jr., son of Lewis and Jane Harding was born in Knox County, Ohio, February 23, 1860, and moved with his parents to Mahaska county, Iowa in 1862, having lived in this vicinity ever since, except 2 years at Kansas. He died September 8, 1910 aged 50 years, 6 months, 15 days. He was married Jan 30 1884, to Miss Dora Trotter. To this union was born 2 children, Ralph of Colorado, and Miss Blanche still at home. He is survived by his wife, children, father and 3 brothers, Wig and Dell Harding of this local, and Levi Harding of Kansas. He was laid to rest in the Highland Cemetery.
