Edward{sic} S. Lowenberg, aged 48, overseer of the Wapello county poor farm and W. C. Arnold of the same age, were killed in an automobile accident near Bloomfield, the car striking the railing of the bridge.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows that Mr. Lowenberg’s name was Edwin and that he was born Nov. 8, 1867. Mr. Arnold was born July 9, 1872. They both died March 19, 1916 and are buried in the Ottumwa Cemetery.
