Ottumwa, Ia., Feb. 27.—William Daggett, vice president of the Iowa national bank, and one of the wealthiest citizens of the state, dropped dead by the rupture of a blood vessel in his brain. He was 70 years old.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in the Ottumwa Cemetery and that he was born in 1830 and died Feb. 26, 1900.
