J. Theodore Deuser, 75, retired farmer and resident of Ottumwa for approximately 15 years, died at 11:20 p.m. Friday at the Ottumwa hospital, following a short illness. She was the son of Christian and Katherine Deuser and was born July 7, 1869, near Hedrick. He is survived by one sister Mrs. Elizabeth Mueller of Lincoln, Illinois, two nieces and two nephews. The body was removed to the Community funeral home to await completion of arrangements.
Funeral services for J. Theodore Deuser, who died at 11:20 Friday evening will be held at 2 P.m. Tuesday at the Community funeral chapel, in charge of Mrs. M.R. Davis a member of the Christian Science church. Burial will be made in the Deuser cemetery southeast of Hedrick.
