William Folgman, 74, of Ottumwa route 6, a lifelong resident of Wapello county, died at 10:45 p.m. Saturday at the home of his niece, Mrs. Rex Speirs, Marshalltown route 3, where he had gone a week ago. He was the son of Julius and Wilhemina Folgman and was born near Munterville, August 25, 1869. Survivors are his nieces and a nephew, Mrs. Speirs of Marshalltown, Mrs. Ethel Crabb, Council Bluffs, and Otis W. Beagle of Detroit. Preceding him in death were a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Beagle, and a nephew Dale Beagle. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Johnson’s chapel, conducted by the Rev. Charles Albin of the Church of the Brethren. Burial in Shaul cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gale Badgett, Ed Ulmer, Orval Harsch, Earl Harsch, Fred Schank and Harold Long.
