Mrs. Lettie Miller, 71, died at 3:15 p.m. today at the Rest Haven home, 820 West Pershing avenue. She was born November 21, 1872 at Bennington, Vermont, the daughter of Elisha and Silence Barney, and had lived in Ottumwa for the past 20 years. She was a member of the Benton Street Presbyterian church. She was married July 25, 1892, to Andrew J. Miller at Hossick Falls, New York. Her husband died nine years ago, and she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Wealtha Nickell. She is survived by one brother and a sister, Mrs. Mae White of Bennington, Vermont and one granddaughter, Mrs. Dorothy Burton of Honolulu, Hawaii. Funeral services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at the Johnson funeral chapel, the Rev. Charles R. Lawrence of the Benton Street Presbyterian church officiating. Burial will be in the Ottumwa cemetery.
