Harvey A. Gilman, 59, of 623 East Main street, died at 1:30 a.m. today at the Ottumwa hospital. He was born August 10, 1884, in Wapello county, the son of Andrew and Phoebe Gilman. He was an employee of the J.C. Blunk Co. and had been a resident of Ottumwa and Wapello county his entire life. He is survived by one son, William A. Gilman of Ottumwa, two grandchildren and one brother, Charles Gilman of Philadelphia. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday from the Johnson funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. A.D McClure. Burial will be in Brooks cemetery.
