Mrs. Trean Criswell, 55, of 635 Lorella street, died Tuesday at 3:15 p.m. She was born in Unionville, Missouri, but lived almost her entire life in Ottumwa. She was a member of Nancy Hanks tent No. 12 Daughters of Union Veterans. She is survived by her husband, J.F. Criswell; four daughters Helen Criswell, Mrs. Charlotte Dooley, Mrs. Winnona DeVora, all of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Marguerite Miller of San Francisco, California, one son James Allen Criswell of Phoenix, Arizona; five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lillian Meir of Ottumwa; a brother, W.A. Choate of Ottumwa and her mother, Mrs. Lottie Choate also of Ottumwa. The body is at the Carroll Reece funeral home awaiting funeral arrangements.
Funeral services for Mrs. Trean Creswell, who died Tuesday at her home, 635 Lorella street, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Carroll Reece funeral home in charge of the Rev. John Hastie. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery. Pallbearers will be Earl Pickerell, Frank DeVore, Ira Hancock and Henry Chadwick.
