Henry B. McLain, 80, died Wednesday evening at his home in Long Beach, California. He was a former Ottumwan and was born April 25, 1863 at Nevada, Iowa. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Libbie McLain of Long Beach, one son, Walter McLain of Ottumwa and one brother, Will McLain of Dayton, Ohio. The body will arrive in Ottumwa Tuesday and funeral arrangements will be announced later.
Funeral services for Henry B. McLain former Ottumwan who died at Long Beach, California, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Lester Jay funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Edward Day of the First Congregational church. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. The body will arrive in Ottumwa Tuesday night and will be taken to the funeral home.
