Mrs. Lulu M. Cantril, 1019 West Third street, died at her home at 12:20 a.m. today. She was born June 28, 1885, at Rawlins, Wyoming, the daughter of Eliza Eila and Alex Smith. Survivors include three daughters, Ruby Cantril, Ottumwa, Mrs. Hazel Peterson, Bremerton, Washington, and Mrs. Virgil Stevens, San Diego, California; two sons Lamar and Myron Cantril, both of Ottumwa; her mother, Mrs. Eila Smith, Ottumwa; a brother Lester Smith Ottumwa and five grandchildren. She was a member of the Frist Christian church. The body will remain at the Lester Jay funeral home pending completion of arrangements.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lulu M. Cantril, who died Thursday at her home, 1019 West Third street, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from the Lester Jay funeral home. The Rev. Harold Roberts, pastor of the First Christian church, will be in charge and burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
