Harley I. Flanders, 65, died at his home at 214 South Graves street at 5:30 a.m. today. He was the son of George and Sarah Flanders and was born in Jefferson county March 31, 1878. He came to Ottumwa in 1913 and was a painter for 27 years. He leaves his wife, Nettie; a sister, Mrs. Ida M. Shoults of Ottumwa, and a brother Frank of Ottumwa. The body is at the Johnson funeral chapel where services will be Monday in charge of the Rev. J.R. Estes of the First Baptist. Burial will be in Lockridge cemetery near Lockridge.
