Glenn Edward Murdock, 56, died Thursday night about midnight at his home 708 ½ West Second street, following a heart attack. He had been crippled all his life and had suffered a fractured hip about three months ago. Recently he had recovered sufficiently to be out again. He was born May 11, 1886 at Fairfield, the son of James and Eleanor Murdock and came to Ottumwa when he was 11 years old and had made his home here since. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Murdock. The body is at the Johnson funeral home where funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in charge of the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
