Hattie May Vivian, 50, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Ottumwa hospital. She was born February 8, 1892, in Fulton county, Missouri, the daughter of Sye and Henrietta Hull, and had lived in Ottumwa for the past 23 years. She is survived by her husband, Willard Vivian of Des Moines, and the following nieces and nephews: Lorene Norris, Milwaukee; John Norris, Scot Field, Illinois; Orlando Moore and Lawrence Doolin, both of Ottumwa and Herbert Doolin in Africa. She was preceded in death by a twin sister, Mrs. Mattie Doran, who died September 11, 1941. The body is at the Carroll Reece funeral home pending the completion of funeral arrangements.
Funeral services for Hattie Vivian, who died at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Ottumwa hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Carroll Reece funeral chapel, in charge of the Rev. William Shaw. Interment will be made in Shaul cemetery.
