Mrs. Nellie G. Eilers, 76, wife of Henry Eilers, died at her home, 302 North Moore street, at 7:05 a.m. Sunday. She was the daughter of Elijah and Mary Ann Lewis and was born at Wellsville, Missouri, October 12, 1866. She came to Ottumwa 48 years ago and was married to Henry Eilers, December 31, 1891. She was a member of the Pentecostal church. Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frank Mooney, Ottumwa; a son, John Eilers, Ottumwa; a granddaughter, Ruth Eilers, Ottumwa; a sister, Mrs. Cora Berry, Davenport, and a brother Thomas Lewis, Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by three sons and a daughter. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Johnson funeral chapel.
