Mrs. Julia Ware, 57, wife of Charles H. Ware of route 5, died at 3 P.m. Wednesday at her home. She was born July 27, 1885 in Davis county, the daughter of George and Sarah Loughridge. She is survived by her husband two sons Clarens and Harold Ware of Ottumwa and one daughter, Mrs. Velda Beck of Bloomfield. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, one of whom Lavelle Niles was reared in the Ware home. The following brothers and sisters also survive Jesse Loughridge, Agency; Arnold Loughridge and William Loughridge, both of Eden; Private Lee Loughridge, Camp White Oregon; Mrs. Florence Post, Mrs. Anna Pottorff and Mrs. Mattie Carder, all of Ottumwa; Mrs. Lilly Dunlavy, Belknap, and Mrs. Ollie Erickson, Salina. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Mrs. Velma Niles, and by two sisters. The body is at the Johnson funeral parlors pending completion of funeral arrangements.
Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Ware, who died Wednesday evening, will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday from the Johnson funeral chapel, The Rev. A.D. McClure will be in charge and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Bloomfield. The casket has been taken to the home of Clarence Ware at 228 South Willard street and will be returned to the chapel at 11 a.m. Sunday. Pallbearers will be William Richardson, Ernest Richardson, Walter Richardson, Gilbert Randolph and Otis Ryals.
