Douglas McKinney, 79, died at 5:50 a.m. today at his home north of the city after a lingering illness. A native of Illinois where he was born July 7, 1863, he formerly lived at Chillicothe. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ray Shouse, Matoon, Illinois. The body will remain at the Moroney funeral home where services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in charge of the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be in the Ottumwa cemetery.
