Herbert Eugene Shondel, 13 ½ month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Shondel, 927 Hammond avenue died at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Ottumwa hospital. Surviving are his parents, one brother, Fredrick Warren Shondel, a sister Anna Catherine Shondel and his grandparents, the Rev. J. H. Denniston, Ottumwa; Mrs. Anna Shondel, Fairfield, and Mrs. Dave McKittrick, Ottumwa. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 a.m. at the Jonson funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. J.H. Denniston of Ottumwa. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery at Fairfield.
