Thomas Richards, 38, died at 10:15 p.m. Friday at the home of his sister, Mrs. Robert Forbes of 309 Kenyon street. He was born May 19, 1904 in Phillipstown, the son of Thomas and Ann Richards, and is survived by one brother and three sisters, Jenkin Richards, of Blakesburg, Mrs. Deborah Moses of Pershing, Mrs. Elizabeth Forbes and Mrs. Charlotte Forbes, both of Ottumwa.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday from the Lester Jay funeral home in charge of the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. The body will be at the Forbes residence until Monday morning when it will be returned to the Lester Jay funeral home.
