Mrs. Della E. Bloss, 57, a resident of this community for the past 34 years, and died at 9:55 p.m. Saturday at the Ottumwa hospital. She was the wife of G.F. Bloss of 825 West Williams street, and was born November 2, 1885, in Lincoln County, Missouri, the daughter of Marine and Amanda Bonnifeld. She was a member of the Chariton Grove Baptist church in Macon county and of the ladies auxiliary of the Spanish American war veterans. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Harold W. Bloss and George F. Bloss Jr. both of Ottumwa; a daughter Mrs. Maurice Goode Clio; four grandchildren Verlin Goode, Phyllis Goode, Billy Bloss and Mary Ann Bloss, and two sisters, Mrs. Tabbie Phillips, Kirkville, Missouri, and Mrs. Etta Moore, Atlanta, Missouri.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Johnson funeral chapel conducted by the Rev. E.R. Parrott, Douds, assisted by the Rev. E.L. Frost of the Davis Street Christian church. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
