Mrs. Lucille Mallonee, wife of Elmer Mallonee of 1407 West Highland avenue, died at 6:30 a.m. today at the St. Joseph hospital. She was 33 years old and was born April 12, 1909, at Mystic, coming to Ottumwa in infancy where she was educated in the Sacred Heart Catholic school, and was graduated from Ottumwa Heights college. She is survived by her husband; one son Larry Mallonee, and two daughters, Margaret Lucille Mallonee, and one infant daughter, all at home. She is also survived by her father, J.P. Lynch of Ottumwa and the following five sisters and two brothers; Sam Lynch, Robert Lynch, Mrs. Fred Schmidtz, Mrs. Francis McInerney, and Miss May Lynch all of Ottumwa; Mrs. Raymond Ward, Chariton, and Mrs. Donald Chenoweth, Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her mother. The body is at the Vaughan funeral chapel awaiting completion of funeral arrangements.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Mallonee of 1407 West Highland avenue, who died Monday at the St. Joseph hospital will be held Wednesday morning at 8:30 o'clock from the Vaughan funeral chapel and at 9 o'clock from St. Mary's Catholic church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. M. Walsh V.F. will celebrate a requiem high mass and burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Members of General Shields council No. 888 will meet at the home on West Third street and go in a group to the Vaughan funeral chapel to recite the rosary.
