Mrs. Anna M. Johnson, wife of Carl Oscar Johnson of route 1, on East Pennsylvania avenue, died at 8:45 p.m. Sunday at her home. She was 71 years old and the daughter of John and Margaret Youngberg. She was born December 31, 1869, in Sweden, coming to the United States and directly to Ottumwa in 1876, she was married July, 22, 1896 at Munterville and is survived by her husband and two sons, Herbert Lee Johnson of Des Moines, and Russell M. Johnson at home. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Marina Johnson of Des Moines, one brother and two sisters, David Youngberg of Warren, Ohio, Mrs. Agnes Anderson and Mrs. Hilma Hallberg, both of Ottumwa. The body is at the Johnson funeral home awaiting the completion of funeral arrangements.
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna M. Johnson, wife of Carl Oscar Johnson, who died at her home on route 1, Sunday, will be held at the Johnson chapel at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Mavin H. Lundeen in charge. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
