Elton A. Cummings 33, died at his home 116 East Fifth street at 8:30 a.m. today. The son of L.R. and Kate Cummings he was born in Blockton September 1, 1908. He had been a resident of Ottumwa since 1936. Surviving are his wife, Opal; his parents L. B. Cummings of Lenox and Mrs. Kate Cummings of Bedford; a brother, Eldrid of Bedford, and three sisters, Mrs. Bea Cross, Bedford, Mrs. Leola Ensley, Clarinda and Mrs. Betty Mitchell, Omaha. The body is at the Johnson funeral home awaiting the completion of funeral arrangements.
