Thomas Washington 84, died at his home north of the city at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Surviving him is one daughter, Mrs. Ella Githens of Chicago. His wife, Bertha, preceded him in death in 1919. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Second Baptist church with the Rev. W.M. Shaw in charge. Burial will be in the Ottumwa cemetery. The body is at the Carroll Reece funeral home.
