Death Summons Mrs. Williamson
Mrs. Anna E. Williamson 75, died at her home 540 West Maple avenue, at 3:40 p.m. Saturday. She was the daughter of Andrew and Katherine Johnson born in Floby-Wasteroetland, Sweden, October 1, 1865. She came to the United States in April, 1886, coming directly to Ottumwa. She has lived here since. She was married to Peter J. Williamson in 1890 in Ottumwa. She was a member of the First Lutheran church. Surviving are three daughters, Alice and Edna Williamson of Ottumwa and Mrs. Hilda Grundstrom of Ottumwa; three sons, Edward and Albert of Ottumwa and Oscar of Hartford, Conn.; four brothers, Frank Lundberg, Ottumwa; John Lundberg, Monmouth, Illinois, August Lundberg, British Columbia, and Alfred Lundberg in Sweden; one sister Mrs. Beda Johnson in Sweden, Also surviving are nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Her husband and one son preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the First Lutheran church, with the Rev. Malvin Lundeen in charge. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. The body will be taken from the Johnson funeral chapel to the church at noon Tuesday where it will lie in state until the hour of services. Pallbearers will be C.E. Erland, Enoch Johnson, Emil Ask, Harry Vaughan, Arthur Erland and Albert Hagglund.
