Mrs. Lillian M. Anderson 61, wife of Barney Anderson of 1925 East Main street, died at the Ottumwa hospital at 8:40 a.m. today. She was the daughter of John Custer and Olive Sconce and was born in Davis county February 9, 1880. She was a resident of Ottumwa nearly her entire life. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Goldie Berry of Ottumwa; one son, Marvin Van Tine of Kenosha, Wisconsin; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Hlad of Des Moines and eight grandchildren, Mrs. Dorothy Thrasher, Mrs. Jack Shultz, Ethel, Darlene, Polly and Vicki Winningham, all of Ottumwa, and Marvin and Glendine Van Tine of Kenosha, and two great-grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Lillian M. Anderson, wife of Barney Anderson of 1925 East Main street, who died Monday morning, will be held at Johnson's funeral chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. E.L. Frost of the Davis Street Christian church will be in charge. Burial will be in Bethlehem cemetery, southeast of Ottumwa. The casket will be taken to the residence today and returned to the chapel at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
