John Z. Wilcher, 93, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Richard Pottorff, 722 East Main street, today at 3:15 p.m. Mr. Wilcher was born March 27, 1847, near Macon, Missouri. Surviving are his daughters, Mrs. Richard Pottorff, Mrs. John Nichols, Mrs. Earl McAclester of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Charles Hudson of Seymour Missouri; sons John Wilcher of Brewster, Nebraska, Isaac of Alliance, Nebraska and A.L. Wilcher of Buffalo, Wyoming, and 18 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen and by two sons and a daughter, Sarah. Services for John E. Wilcher, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Richard Pottorff, 732 East Main street. Friday, will be held in Johnson's funeral chapel Sunday at 1:30 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Charles E. McDowell. Burial will be Dunnville cemetery.
