Mrs. J.P. Ullrich Dies At Age Of 87
Mrs. Elizabeth Ullrich 87, widow of J.P. Ullrich, died at her home 527 West Fourth street, Thursday at 12:45 a.m. She had lived here most of her life. Mrs. Ullrich was born March 3, 1853 in Marburg, Hessen, Germany, the daughter of Henry and Margaret Zulauf. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Edna Elizabeth Ullrich; grand-daughter. Mrs. Dorothy Ullrich Railey, of Kansas City, and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Rugg, of Ottumwa and Mrs. Margaret Weisshaar of Hollywood, California. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son J.P. Ullrich Jr. Mrs. Ullrich was a member of the First Presbyterian church. She formerly lived 17 years in Kansas City, Missouri returning to Ottumwa in 1939. Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Lester Jay funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Richard Paul Graebel, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
