Mrs. Lindquist Dies; Was 92 Years Old
Mrs. Anna B. Lindquist, 92, died at her home, 417 Ottumwa street, Saturday at 1:15 p.m. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anders Jonson and was born in Holland, Sweden, July 27, 1848. She came to the United States in 1881 coming to Ottumwa in 1885. She had lived here since. Mrs. Lindquist was a member of the First Lutheran church. Surviving are daughters, Miss Ada C. and Miss Clara A. Lindquist and Mrs. Stella Jordan, all at home; sons John A., William C. and Oscar F. Lindquist of Ottumwa, Reuben T. of Bettendorf, and Benjamin E. of Bellrose, N.Y.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, Charles A. Lindquist; daughter Mrs. Alida Gyllenhammar; son Otto and grandson Elbert Lindquist.
Service will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the First Lutheran church, conducted by the Rev. Malvin H. Lundeen, pastor. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. The body is at the home, will be taken to the church Tuesday at 1 p.m.
