George H. Pickrell, 55 of Ottumwa route 4, died Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at 333 Appanoose street. He was the son of William J. and Amanda J. Pickrell and was born in Wapello county October 14, 1885. He had lived here his entire life. Mr. Pickrell is survived by four brothers, Robert L., W.E. and Jesse of Ottumwa route 4, and Richard Pickrell of Ottumwa; and by four sisters; Mrs. Ada Newman of Rockham S.D., Mrs. Anna Curtis of Kirkville, Mrs. Estella Hackett of Albia and Mrs. Nettie Breen of Ottumwa route 2. He was preceded in death by three sisters. Funeral services will be held at Johnson's funeral chapel at 1:30 p.m. Saturday conducted by A.O. Smith. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
