Veteran Morrell Employee Dies
Francis Marion (Frank) Trump, 73 of 1011 East Main street died at his home Sunday at 6:25 p.m. Mr. Trump was the son of Jacob and Phoebe Trump and was born in Henry county March 9, 1867. He lived in Ottumwa for the last 38 years. Mr. Trump was a veteran employee of John Morrell & Co. and was a member of the Plymouth Congregational church. He was married to Miss Belle Norton January 20, 1888, at Lancaster, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife; daughters, Mrs. Alice Lindahl of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Mrs. Lillian Parkinson of Ottumwa; grandchildren, John Robert Carter of Minneapolis and Sharon Lee Parkinson of Ottumwa; brother Edward Trump of Salem. Service for Francis Marion (Frank) Trump, who died at his home, 1011 East Main street, Sunday will be held in Johnson's funeral chapel Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. conducted by the Rev. A.J. Spacht of the Plymouth Congregational church assisted by Kenneth Ross. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery. Pallbearers will be fellow employees of John Morrell & Co.
