Herman Korfhage, 69, of Highland Center, died at 10:45 a.m. Monday at Sigourney, after a two week illness. He is survived by a brother, Dick, New Holland, Illinois and a number of cousins. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Community Funeral Service parlors in Ottumwa. The Rev. Carl Ganschow, Hedrick Lutheran pastor, will be in charge. The body will be taken to Havana, Illinois for burial.
