Mrs. Della Jones 70, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.L. Selix, 808 Queen street, Tuesday at 9:45 p.m. Mrs. Jones was the daughter of Ruffas and Elizabeth Hiatt and was born in Appanoose county July 17, 1870. She had lived in Ottumwa for the last 21 years and was a member of the Pentecostal church here. Surviving are daughter, Mrs. R.L. Selix of Ottumwa, four (obit cut off at this point.)
Services for Mrs. Della Jones, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.L Selix, 808 Queen street, Tuesday, will be held in Johnson's funeral chapel Friday at 1:30 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Charles Leaming of Waterloo, former Ottumwa pastor. Burial will be in Hiattsville cemetery, located between Moravia and Unionville. Pallbearers will be Harl Goodwin, E.B. Pence, Bernard Emanuel, Orville Boyles, Wanda Padget and Ben Owens. The casket will be at the Selix home until Friday noon when it will be returned to the chapel.
