Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” August 30, 1920:

John Clay Copple, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. William Copple, 1317 Steller street, died Saturday evening. The funeral was held this afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at Daggett’s chapel with Rev. U.E. Burroughs officiating. Burial was made in the Shaul cemetery.
