Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” September 7, 1962:

Mrs. Leah Sincox

ALBIA. – Mrs. Leah Sincox, 71, 1402 Benton Ave. E., died today at 8:30 a.m. in Monroe County Hospital.

She was the widow of Russell Sincox. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Henry Kolling, of Albia.

The body is at the Geyer-Lewis Funeral Home.

“Sincox Funeral,” From “Ottumwa Courier,” September 8, 1962:

ALBIA. – The funeral for Mrs. Russell Sincox, 71, who died Friday, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Geyer-Lewis Funeral Home. Rev. Henry Hackman of Methodist Church will be in charge. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery in Ottumwa.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Williams, she was born in Beacon on April 26, 1891. She had lived in Des Moines prior to moving to Albia six years ago.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Henry Kolling of Albia; a brother, James Williams of Ottumwa; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her husband died about six years ago. A son, Kenneth Sincox, died in 1932. Three brothers and a sister also are deceased.
