Adrian Wayne Southern

Adrian Wayne Southern, 62, of Ollie, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at the VA Hospital in Iowa City.

The funeral will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. Following the service, the body will be cremated, and burial of cremains will be at a later date.

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Southern was born March 25, 1952, in Newton, Kansas, the son of Edward J. and Audrey Marie McCulloch Southern. He married Rebecca O. Ano May 20, 2006.

Mr. Southern lived in Ollie since 2008.

He worked for Panama Trucking as a truck driver for 15 years.

He enjoyed going for drives whether it be in his truck or motorcycle. He also like to play computer games and watch wrestling.

Survivors include: his wife, Rebecca O. Ano-Southern; five children, A. Wayne Southern II of Fort Madison, James Southern of New Caney, Texas, Christopher Southern of Sacramento, California, Anthony Southern of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Jaimye (James) Kent of Newton, Kansas.

He was preceded by death by his parents; one brother, James Edward "Eddie" Southern; one sister, Louise J. Franklin; and two grandsons.
