Rachel (Deckard) Essary's second husband, Charles Norman Ollom, died in 1961 not in 1981 per the error in her obituary previously posted. He is buried in the Eldon Cemetery.

May 7, 1874 --- February 22, 1961

ELDON, IA -- Charles Norman Ollum, 86, a resident of Eldon for several years, died at 11 a.m. today at Sunnyslope Sanatorium in Ottumwa, where he had been a patient seven months. Survivors include his wife, Rachel, six daughters and a son. The body is at the Campbell Funeral Home.
