George Daniel (Danny) Orman 30 of Slater died Wednesday at his home. He was a John Deere of Des Moines Works employee.

Born Nov 26, 1948 in Ottumwa to George and Doris Phillips Orman; he lived in Ottumwa until moving to the Des Moines area five years ago. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic church. He married Glenda Hampshire Aug. 3, 1967 in Ottumwa. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters; Marinda and Nicole both at home; one sister Mrs. David Webber of Hedrick Route 1; his parents of Ottumwa and two grandmothers; Mrs. Bertha Lightner of Ottumwa and Mrs. Alice Shepherd of El Reno, Oklahoma.

Services will be Monday at 11 A.M. at St. Patrick's Catholic church where the Rev Paul Hart will celebrate a Requiem Mass. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. There will be a Christian wake service Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the Jay funeral home. Visitation will be afternoon on Sunday.
